4 Getaways on Valentine’s Weekend

Valentine’s Day or 14th February, a day dedicated to L ❤ VE. It is a feeling or an emotion that differs from person to person. Amongst all, there are some people who truly believes that it is a feeling especially meant for people or someone who is too close to your heart.

Everyone all around the world, do something special for this day. Some plan it, while some others just prefer to go with the flow. Both the ways of celebration are interesting in their own way. One gives you everything that you desire, while the other way is full of surprises.

I say surprises can give you some extra brownie points. Therefore, give a surprise to your special one or all the loved ones and make them feel special. Get ready with your pen and paper to write down 4 getaways for this valentine’s weekend.

Don’t have anything to write down, just bookmark this page, or even easy, take a snapshot. 🙂

  1. Take a trip to a classic city

Pack your bags and get ready for a romantic trip on this Valentine’s weekend. Take your love away from their usual and boring daily lives. Gift them a changed environment, temperature, and culture. If you are a Deliite like me, you have plenty of options to choose from, these mainly includes, Agra, the city of Taj is a perfect location to make the day special, Jaipur & Rajhasthan, two cities of the country are well known for their vibrant culture, historical forts, and royal forts turned hotels.

If you prefer freezing temperature then, visit Kullu or Manali and get a little bit cozy.

  1. Visit a theme based restaurant

This way of celebrating Valentine’s Day is for all busy bees. Take few hours from your hectic schedule and travel to the theme restaurants located nearby you. Take a visit to a world of different aromas, music, ambience and people. Restaurants like, Chauki Dhani and Haweli are two perfect examples.

  1. Go on an adventurous trip

    Kaziranga National Park

We all like being safe and secure. But, at times this all same stuff gets boring and repetitive.

Pack your trekking shoes and clothes and travel to a forest region or a National park, where you can experience the true jungle life.

These days, a number of resorts are active that offers a trip to the deep forests or National parks. Enjoy your days with the forest animals in their original habitat. Be the Tarzan and Jane for this Valentine’s weekend.

  1. Plan a secret weekend
    Jakuzi

This is one of the best ways to celebrate valentine’s weekend. All you need to do is to cut off from the entire world. If you are in the US or in any other European country, this may sound easy for you. But, if you are an Asian and especially and an Indian, this might be a hard task for you. Because, escaping from your relatives on weekends can be a hard task. Especially when they are an expert in giving surprise visits. (Sounds familiar)

Do not worry, book a farmhouse with all exotic luxuries. Switch off your mobile phones, and spend you entire day celebrating your day of love. Watch romantic movies, take bath in jacuzzi, try various cuisines. Share your feelings, make each moment special and memorable.

❤ ❤ ❤ Last but not the least, ENJOY!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

These are such great ideas! I remember doing the “romantic” getaway weekend in the past. Now, hubs and I just sit in the room together and call each other names. LOL It’s just the little things!

I’ve just recently returned from India – visited Delhi, Goa and Kerala – I stayed in Ashrams most of the time as my particular travel was a spiritual one. I am definitely returning to India at some point.

I hope that your trip was worth of your time and full of enjoyment. All three cities are famous among tourists. You can explore more if you travel with a little bit of local perspective. 🙂
