Product Review: myDaily Meal

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I last write my blog. To be honest, last few months has been really hectic to me so much so that it has taken a toll on my health. My schedule was so tight and tiresome that I hardly go any time to eat. Things were surely not the way they were meant to be. Especially on my diet part. This could have continued a little more longer until I came across to ‘myDaily Meal.

Initially, I thought that this would be just another food supplement. A product that promises a lot and delivers less, something that tastes and smells weird. Well, I was wrong on that part, and therefore, I decided to write a review of the product.

What the company claims

myDaily Meal is a perfectly engineered meal replacement that provides exact nutrients by your body in 1 meal.

Product Packaging

The product is easy to carry and weighs 115grams. It comes in two different variants, Vanilla and Chocolate.

On the package company has mentioned that myDaily Meal is-

Perfect mean in 1 minute

Healthiest meal you can ever have

Contains essential 12 vitamins and 13 minerals

(Back)

This side explains that the product is free from preservatives, artificial colours and Transfat. In addition to this, there is a long list of vitamins, carbs and other proteins along with their quantity.

The Product itself

I am a chocolate fan, and I was impressed by the choco fragrance in the product. The texture is fine grainy. I was happy to see the quantity of the product. I could have easily used it for two times. (single profile)

Pricing

Each packet costs for Rs. 175 for 115 grams.

Usage

As per the directions I mixed the powder with 350 ml of water. Since I have a sweet tooth, I preferred to add 1 tbsp of sugar with it and mixed it thoroughly.

I was happy with the thick consistency of the mixture. (It was similar to the mango shake we drink from the juice shops during summer times.)

Verdict

I have to say that the company did fulfill their promise to provide one heavy meal for the day. To make sure that I don’t get biased with the product, I skipped my lunch and went on shopping. I did not eat or drink any energy drink during the entire day (apart from water that I was carrying). For that whole day I was full of energy and did a lot of walking (approx 5km).

Taste wise, it is not so special, similar to other food supplements. Therefore, its consistency can make you question yourself. But you can always improvise as per your need (for me, I added some more water)

The best part is that it is easy to carry and does not take any milk, just add water and you are ready to drink. However, the cost can make you think twice or even thrice. As in that same amount you can eat something. Again, if you are health conscious and looking for a safe and healthy option, you can go for it.

Starring

I give myDaily Meal 3/5 stars

This product is tested under high level of humidity in New Delhi (these days) and then reviewed.

Even I hate to skip my meals, but at time it gets difficult to take some break time.
Hey, but this was a nice option. But one should not completely depend on such items. 🙂

  3. I’m allergic to soy so it’s such a pity most meal replacements are soy based. I actually quite like drinking my meals!

Hello Tania, I am afraid, but this one also carries soy protein.

Never thought that any one could actually be allergic to soy. Will surely hunt for some soy free meal replacers.

thanks for your time, and stay in touch!

The best thing I like about the product is that I do not have to worry to carry some juice or milk with me. I can simply shake it with some water, fruits (optional) and sugar (optional).

I like the idea of these but I’m always put off because of the taste and smell, so I pass on these meal replacers and take my hat off to people who do manage to drink them. Xx

Hey thanks ‘superhealthycooking’. I just try to be honest every time I review any product. Knowing the part that it could be give me a disastrous experience.

I actually haven’t tried a meal replacement ever, mostly because I think they are quite expensive and you can get the same vitamins from fruits and vegetables. I suppose that if you have an active life and don’t have time to eat these can come in handy.

Hey Joanna, even I feel the same about fruits and vegetables. However, an individual always don’t go for that option, even I look up to some junk food instead.
With options like this, I may keep all my temptations aside and drink it with some fresh fruits. 🙂

I am sure that you haven’t heard of the product earlier. It is a new company, therefore the review.
Cannot say anything about Shakeology, never tried. (I don’t think it is available in India)
Anyways, thanks for your time 🙂

  12. I think I needed this big time. I usually don’t have time to eat in the nature of my work. This should supply me the nutrients and energy I needed temporarily. We should have this in our country too.

In my country we don’t really have these so this seems really cool. Although i’d rather have a proper meal, but this is a great option if your schedule is too hectic to eat!
